Meet the boys
Louie is a sable Papillon with ears a little bigger than the rulebook allows. He came home asleep on a lap after a whole day in the car and has been an excellent traveler ever since.
Cooper is a long-haired chihuahua, thirteen now, and the reason book two exists. He rode out on Momma’s lap, shared it with a puppy for the ride back, and kissed that puppy’s forehead the whole way home — which is exactly what a big brother does.

About the author
Gina Settle is Louie’s momma. She wrote most of book two from the passenger seat, with a sleeping puppy on her lap and about six hours still to go. Every story in the series really happened — the trips, the noises, the forehead kisses, all of it.
More adventures are on the way: a big train, and a night in a hotel.
